okay, so it's TECHNICALLY on the horizon... even if it's way off in the distance. Malachi has made great strides, but he still has a long way to go; however, the agenda for this hospitalization is getting MUCH shorter. we are having another care conference on Thursday (a much more optimistic conference than the one a couple weeks ago pre-heart surgery) and hopefully we can kind of get a road map of where we are and where we need to go before HOME!!!
we took a step back last night from a respiratory standpoint. moving him from three liters of vapotherm back up to four took care of his desat issues through the night. i'm thankful that we are still on vapotherm!
moving forward, though, someone got a big boy bath today!!

OHHHHHH! YEAH! GOD is so good! I love his bath pics, nothin' cuter than babies in the bath. Praying that he continues to heal and surprises everyone.
