100 days
I left the hospital on a very sour note, so I will be taking some time to cool off before I post his update with a clear head. At 9:30, Malachi coughed and began to desat. I notified my nurse as well as another. RT (respiratory therapy) was nowhere to be found. Malachi was a color he should never be and his oxygen saturation level was down to 18. There was an RT in the back room who finally came out, but couldn't help because she had yet to scrub in... seriously? it was 9:30!!!
