These shoes are courtesy of our "new" neighbors (well, we've officially been here for 4-1/2 months, but we've been a bit preoccupied to introduce ourselves to those around us). This is just one example of the generosity that has been poured out on us. We can never say thank you enough!
We have received more notes of encouragement, cards, letters, care packages, monetary donations, and prayers than we could imagine or ever deserve. John has missed days of work during Chi's bad days and surgeries that went unpaid, unanticipated gas expenses, the list goes on--all of which have been covered through the generosity of friends, family, and strangers alike.
I feel horrible that I haven't kept a better list of things so that I can send out proper thank yous. Please know that if I haven't responded directly to your act of kindness, thoughtfulness, and graciousness--it has NOT gone unnoticed or unappreciated. We are utterly humbled by the response we have received from the complete change that came about in our life when we welcomed Mr. Malachi into our family. From the depths of our hearts... Thank YOU.
