Pray for sleep

Please pray that John and I would be able to sleep tonight. Sleep and
actual rest for the strength needed tomorrow. Also strength for our
frequent moments of weakness when it just seems like too much.

  1. As I was praying tonight, I was quickly reminded of my devotional that I did last week (Acts 16). Praising him in the midst of your trial. To sum it up Paul and Silas were beaten real bad, and thrown in jail, and started to praise Him. Praising Him in the midst of their trial. It goes on, a miracle happens, the chains come off, they led people to the Lord, and baptised them. I see this for you and John, praising him in the midst of your trial, and leading people to the Lord.
Praying for sweet peace to come upon you tonight.

  4. You have SO many people bathing you in prayer right now. Rest in the truth that He loves Chi at a depth we can't even wrap our brains around!
My heart has felt so heavy on your behalf...it has kept me on my knees.

  5. Lord I pray you give them supernatural strength and lift them up God. Let them have peace and sleep and rest. Allow them to give it all to you God and you lighten their burden. Help them to make the hard decisions and be with them Hold them in your loving arms God. Heal Malachi here on earth. Stay close to them and remind them of your goodness and remind them you will never leave or forsake them. Pour out blessings to them God. In Your name we pray. Amen.

  8. Marissa,
Not sure what all is going on in your family. I have been reading your blog since you were a student at Career Step, when I got to "know" you through the chat room. You and your husband have endured so much, and yet I still see you being faithful and giving God glory. Just want to know that there are people out here who are lifting you guys up in prayer. You are NOT ALONE in your battles.
    In His Love,
    Karen
