Clearly, this has been a hard week in the Sharbaugh household. It's extremely difficult for me to make sense of my thoughts, let alone try to convey them in writing.
Not much to really say at this point.
Please pray--sanity and peace would be much appreciated at this moment.

ReplyDeleteMarissa..you probably don't remember me..I used to work with your mom at the hospital. I have been following your blog for awhile now. I admire your strength and the involvement in your son's life. I say this b/c I used to work in the NICU as well and many parents just want to know when they can pick their kid up and don't bother to take part in their child's care, etc. Your faith in God is very evident and truly inspirational. I can't imagine the decisions that lay before you. I'm sure you are familiar with the verse that says that God never gives us more than we can handle (paraphrased). I'm sure it seems like more than you can handle at times, but in the end it is all for God's glory..a testament to those around you. Another verse says that all things work together for good..hard to see at this point, but some day it will all make sense. I am praying for strength, peace and comfort for you and John..and lil miss Emerson. Thank you for taking the time to keep everyone up to date.(Huxley, IA)
